Volunteer Duties
Volunteer duties have been assigned points values. 100 pts are required for each player to avoid volunteer deposit being cashed. Opt out fee is $300 per player.
NO minimum volunteer points required for RALLY CAP (U7/7U). However, the team will still need a manager and coaches, and parents should expect to go out on the field and help with the practices as necessary.
Family Rate - points are reduced for each additional player in a family after the first:
First family member - 100 points
Second family member - 75 points
Third family member - 50 points
Fourth and any additional family members - 25 points each
U9/9U volunteer points will be 50% of the lowest rate applied to their family (excluding Rally Cap). e.g. family has one player in U9 - 50 points required. e.g. family has 3 players in 15U, U13, and 9U - 100+75+25 (calculated as 50% of 50) = 200 points required.
PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE **NOT** RUNNING THE CONCESSION BOOTH FOR 2026. If we host weekend play, we will let the golf course know that an event is taking place and participants will be directed there for meals. If a team wishes to run a drink/snack table by the diamonds as a team fundraiser on a weekend they are hosting, they are welcome to do so, but they will be responsible for stocking, cash management, volunteers, and leftovers. Volunteer hours worked for a team fundraiser will not count towards association volunteer requirements.
PLEASE NOTE that due to the ongoing difficulty of finding volunteers to work the dunk tank on Canada Day, Elk Point Minor Ball has given up this fundraiser.
