Registration

Registration is NOW OPEN for the 2026 season.

Early registration discounts available until March 31.

Registration deadline April 15.

Rally cap registration will remain open until the end of May.

2026 Registration is ONLINE ONLY.

New for 2026 - Lakeland Minor Ball League has moved to a WEEKEND game schedule.  Weekends of play are listed here:  https://epmb.ca/content/2026-divisions.

Online Registration

RALLY CAP (year of birth 2019-2021) PLEASE REGISTER UNDER BASEBALL.  Both Pumas and Sox Rally Cap players will be on a combined team.  We register all through Baseball Alberta for administrative reasons.

*Note that Baseball Alberta registration is through Spordle and Softball Alberta registration is through RAMP.  Please choose the correct link depending on whether you are registering your child in baseball or softball.  We cannot add a player to a baseball roster if they were registered for softball through ramp, and we cannot add a softball player to a roster if they were registered for baseball through spordle.*

Baseball (Sox) - Spordle

If you do not have a Spordle account, you will need to create one.  If you already have a Spordle account, you can login, click register now, and search for “Elk Point Minor Ball”.

If your player has not registered under Baseball Alberta before, you will need to create a participant profile for them, even if they have a participant profile under another sport (e.g. hockey).  If your player was registered with Elk Point in the last two years, then they will already have a participant profile under Baseball Alberta.  You will be prompted to search for an existing member or create a member profile when you begin the registration process.

Ethnicity & Race - Baseball Alberta has a mandatory question about ethnicity and race.  If you registered offline in 2024 or 2025, we created a player profile for your player and we answered the question as "Prefer not to say."  If you wish to change this, please contact the web admin, as this cannot be edited at the individual player level.

Please register your player into their correct age division.  Elk Point Minor Ball will only look at player movement after registration closes.

Softball (Pumas) - RAMP

If you do not have a RAMP account, you will need to create one.  If you have a RAMP account associated with your email address (e.g. for the ramp gamesheet app), you may need to reset your password, since the password requirements for the registration portal are more stringent than for the other apps.

You will need to add your player as an account member on your account.  If you have used RAMP registration in another sport, your player should already be a member on your account.  However, in order to register for Softball in Elk Point, you must use our registration link.

From the dashboard, click on either “Participant” or “Available Participant Packages” and follow the prompts to register.  You must register your player in their correct age group.  Elk Point Minor Ball will only look at player movement after registration closes when we know our player numbers.  Please note that Lakeland League has combined U17 and U19 into a single U18 division.  However, that is not an available registration option through RAMP, so although you must register as either U17 or U19, those divisions will be combined into one team.  Because LMBL uses a U18 division, there are NO overage U19 players.  A second year U19 player is considered overage for U18.

PROVINCIAL TEAMS

Please speak to the EPMB exec if you are interested in forming a provincial team or entering your league team into provincials.  The provincial registration fee is the registration fee plus $100.  If you have already paid the registration fee to join a LMBL team, you will only be required to pay the additional $100 provincial fee to be added to an Elk Point provincial team.

COACH / MANAGER Application

If you are interested in taking on a coach or manager position, please complete the application here.  Criminal record and vulnerable sector check required.

Equipment required

Hats - EPMB has implemented a $20 charge for hats.  This is still subsidized from the full cost.  All players U9 and up require a team hat in good condition as part of their uniform.  If your player has access to a hat in good condition (eg from a previous year or sibling), they are not required to purchase a new hat.  You can add a hat to your online registration and it will be handed out on equipment day.  Please note the subsidized hats are for players only.  We may be able to offer hats to non players at a non subsidized price, or they can be ordered from Knotty Boyz.

Beginning in 2025 - SOFTBALL - ALL INFIELD PLAYERS ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR A FACE MASK!  Players must provide their own face mask.

Fundraiser

Our main 2026 fundraiser is an online 50/50.  Once it is set up, players will be added to the "in support of" list and will receive a direct link to have sales attributed to them.  Ticket purchasers will also be able to scroll through the "in support of" list to find a player.  We will be able to accept offline ticket purchases, but the purchaser will still need to provide an email address to receive their electronic tickets.

Volunteer

Point values are assigned for volunteer duties, and each player is required to achieve a threshold of points to fulfill their volunteer requirements.  Points requirements are adjusted for families with more than one player. Volunteer roles include things like coaching, managing, field prep, scorekeeping, and working the Lee Park Rodeo and Canada Day fundraisers.
